Hornaday started on the pole, jumped out in front of the field immediately and would go on to lead a race-high 175 of 201 laps, but the race wasn't without drama. With 5 laps to go, an accident between Dennis Setzer and Tayler Malsam brought out the 6th and final caution to set up a green white checker finish. Hornaday Jr had to hold off a hard charging Brian Scott to get the win.
